The much-awaited Shotgun 650 from Royal Enfield was recently unveiled in its Motoverse Edition

Royal Enfield has recently unveiled the production version of the highly anticipated Shotgun 650 motorcycle. This comes after the successful showcase of the Motoverse Edition last month, which was limited to only 25 units and priced at Rs 4.25 lakhs (ex-showroom).

The production version of the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 is set to make its way into the mass market with a planned release in early 2024. It will be available in four vibrant color options: Stencil White, Plasma Blue, Green Drill, and Sheetmetal Grey. Apart from its appealing aesthetics, this motorcycle offers a unique customizable design that can easily transition from a single-seater to a double-seater or a tourer with luggage.

Built on the reliable 650 Twin platform, the Shotgun 650 features a mid-set foot position, a low seat height of 795 mm, and an authoritative handlebar position. The retro charm is enhanced by the floating single seat, which exudes a nostalgic vibe.

In terms of performance, the Shotgun 650 is equipped with 43 mm diameter separate function big piston Showa forks at the front and a twin-tube 5-step preload adjust RSU at the rear, providing a smooth and comfortable ride. The motorcycle also features wide 18-inch front and 17-inch rear tubeless tires, along with 320 mm and 300 mm disc brakes, ensuring an exhilarating and secure riding experience.

Design-wise, the Shotgun 650 boasts an LED headlamp and a digi-analogue instrument cluster with the Tripper navigation system, adding convenience and functionality to the rider’s experience.

To further enhance the excitement, Royal Enfield has introduced the Royal Enfield Wingman, an innovative in-app feature that provides real-time updates on the motorcycle’s location, fuel and engine oil levels, service reminders, and more. Additionally, the bike is equipped with a USB charging port for added convenience.

Overall, the production version of the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 promises to be a versatile and thrilling motorcycle that combines style, performance, and functionality. With its unique design and features, it is set to make a mark in the mass market upon its release in early 2024.
